Cannot add new payment card with 3D Secure

I cannot add new payment card (VISA) with 3D Secure. It lets me add all the card details, then tells me that it needs to be redirected to my bank to verify my identity. And then it is stuck on loading/displaying: "CONTACTING CARD ISSUER".

It doesn't matter which device I use (iPhone, iPad, PC/browser), result is the same. In everywhere else this card (and 3D verification) works fine.

Anyone have had similar problems? Seems to me that it's some issue with Apple services...

Hello,

Unfortunately network settings doesn't matter - tried different networks and cellular.

And yesterday the behavior changed, it doesn't even show any indication of the 3D secure notice (or redirect). And therefor payments fail, because identity is not verified.

I think it is some general Apple services issue for my region (Estonia) cards, maybe...

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help with adding a payment method.

First, please verify if there are any outages in your area: Apple Systems Status

If not but you still have problems, it's possible the issue is cause by the wireless network you are connected to. Try while connected to a different wireless network. You can also try by turning off Wi-Fi and testing only with your cellular connection.

To try with another wireless network, make sure it meets these requirements: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points - Apple Support

To turn Wi-Fi off and use your cellular connection, go to Settings > Wi-Fi, and turn the slider off. Be aware that this will use your cellular data until you turn Wi-Fi back on.
