When using an eSim, can you tell which number is being called?

I would like to use the eSim on my iPhone SE as a business line. Is there a way to tell which line is being called? Can I set a ringtone for when the incoming call is on an eSim, for example? Does the incoming call screen (and dropdown in iOS 14) display which number was called? And can I independently disable the eSim to prevent incoming calls during off hours?

Thanks for any info!

Hello lkalliance,

We understand you have some questions about receiving calls while using an eSIM.

When you receive an incoming call, there will be a small icon with ether a "P" or "S". This is for Primary or Secondary and is dependent on how you assigned the cellular plans and numbers.

Currently, you're not able to set separate ringtones for each line, but you can set up ringtones for saved contacts.

As far as silencing a the eSIM during off hours, you could disable Wi-Fi calling and the Allow Cellular Switching" feature each time ad re-enable them when you're ready to receive calls. More info on eSIM and its features can be found, here.

Cheers!
