iPad pencil not charging

Good afternoon, my iPad pencil is connecting to my iPad Air but it is not charging. I used to have this problem a few weeks ago but I kept trying and it finally connected but, 4 days ago I went to go use it and when I connected it to my iPad it said that it was at 0%. So I plugged it in my iPad to charge and it wasn’t charging I even plugged it into my charger it’s self and it still wasn’t not charging.

What should I do?

Hi,

Please check if the pin has any carbon deposit and clean it up.

If it still is not charging, then I am afraid the battery on the pencil has died completely. It was the case with two of my iPad pencils (1st gen) too.
