If I get an Apple Card before purchasing a new Apple computer, and use the Apple Card to pay for it, is there a 0% interest deal for a period of time?

Yes. You can use Apple Card for interest free monthly payments on Apple devices at any time.

Note, that they are only interest free as long as you pay the monthly due on time. i.e there is no interest on the total charge as long as they are on time.
Late payments will incur interest.
