Asus BW-12D1S-U no longer recognized after Big Sur

iMac Pro is no longer mounting a disk in the Asus BW-12D1S-U drive after updating to Big Sur. Asus said it is plug and play so nothing from their end. (Their is a Windows-only driver update but nothing Mac related.) It's connected via CalDigit hub but also didn't work with direct connect to Mac.

Interestingly it is listed 3 times in the System Report under USB but not Disc Burning.

Hello jmr999,

We'd like to help with the issue you're experiencing with your external drive on your Mac.

Based on the screenshot you provided, it does appear the external drive is showing in the System Report.

To confirm, are you able to see the drive if you open Disk Utility as well? About Disk Utility on Mac

If the drive does not show in Disk Utility, try an PRAM reset to see if it helps: Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac

Let us know how it goes.
