Numbers sheets vertical list in sidebar?

I just got a new mac after 11 years and I opened numbers to find sheets across the top. How can I list all my sheets in left sidebar ?

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

HI srstewart,

Not an available feature.

You could make a 'table of contents" table on one sheet, with links to each of the other sheets of your document.

See this discussion for some suggestions. (Read the full discussion, not just the post marked solved.)

You are not the only one who misses the old design, even after all these years. But wait, you've only just begun to find out what else is missing/changed. There are, of course, some new features and functions, too, and it calculates faster and stuff, but to this day I continue to lament the removal of some of the features that made it special. It still beats Excel for my uses but I miss the design of Numbers '09.

Barry -Thank you so much for your response on this. You saved me pulling my hair out or wanting to return my brand new Mac. Table of contents is working perfectly. I did have a challenge creating a link because it was grade out until I realized I had to select the text from my table of content in order to create the link.

much appreciated!
