why is my iphone 7 stuck on the apple logo and will not come off the apple logo

Do a Forced Restart
Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME TIME (keep holding past the swipe to power off) until the Apple Logo reappears, then let go.
Hopefully normal operation will resume when your phone comes back up.
