since the 14.1 update my phones speaker icon has been grayed out during calls and i can’t hear or speak to the other person. this also occurs on any other app that uses the microphone.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 14

Use the contact Support link at the top of the page here to contact Apple Support. Sounds like you have a bad audio circuit. That is something Apple will have to deal with.
