Shure SE846 (wired earphones)issue with 12 Pro Max

When I connect my Shure SE846 IEM to 12Pro Max with the help of Lightning to 3.5mm audio jack, it crackles and the audio quality not even half as good as originally. And the adapter cable is an Apple product.

Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones not working with my Mac since upgrading to Monterey MacBook Pro 2018 had no problems connecting to Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones until I upgraded to Monterey. Now completely useless with Monterey 12.2.1 although fine with IOS. The Sony firmware is the latest version. Thankful for any ideas!
