iPhone 12 Pro Cyan/Blue Screen Issue

I also had this problem today while using my iphone 12pro, after unlocking my lockscreen and opening an app suddenly it turned into a blue yellowish color. After seeing this suddenly i restarted my phone and it got ready. It is only about 2 weeks since i have purchased my phone !!

I have this exact same issue, bought the phone 6 months ago and after calling Apple support twice for over an hour. Apparently this is a know issue and the only suggestion provided was to “keep your phone updated”...... Despite it being a known issue they are refusing to send a replacement. Are they just going to wait for the warranty to be up so they don’t have to send a replacement? Feeling scammed.

I have the iPhone 12 (updated to iOS 14.5.1) and my phone will occasionally glitch a bright/vibrant cyan color for several seconds and resolves itself when I close the app or press the power button, as if nothing happened.

Apple have to follow up this issue as I bought 4 phones from Telus Canada for my employees and they have same problem! Still of finance and if things goes same the we will claim it, specially many people reported it on Apple website!

The same issue was experienced by me in my iphone 12, when i am using youtube. But a simple power off/on solves the issue. But i want to know what is the glitch in the new ios?? Any problem with the display??

Hello, I just experienced the same issue as well. Twice in a couple of days. Both went away after a few seconds. Not sure what to do now. Might bring it to Geniusbar and see what they will say.

Did you get any response for this issue? i have the same one. i restart the phone and it fixed itself but wanted to check whether it is a continuous issue

Mine does the same thing the screen those blue sometimes it doesn’t even communicate when you touch the screen it’s brand spanking new I paid over $1600 for it and I’ve also noticed that it freezes now and also the speaker when it’s on text to speech freezers and jumps not something I thought I would get from Apple I’m very disgusted!

I was thinking about going to the fair consumers commission board and maybe having them look into this products defects on a worldwide scale!

This happens with me today. I scrolled the tiktok and the screen turned to blue. I pressed the power button and turned off the screen, then pressed the power button again and the screen went back to normal. Is this a problem which needs to repair? Or this is a software problem?

Hi, I was watching Facebook and at first some bright details went to cyan. Arter 5 sec all white went cyan. Closed Facebook but stiil all white was cyan for a minute. Wanted to do a picture with other Phone but then it turned back to normal I have 12 pro . Here that Apple 12 models have hardware issue .. what to do now with this expensive phone .?

Just experienced this issue for the first time today, it was for like 2 second when I was in a app (tiktok) but I do not believe that it was the apps fault because even the power logo turned blue. And for me it wasn’t a cyan it was a dark blue.

I had the same issue! All white is cyan.

I was using Facebook app, even closing it and switching to the Home Screen everything was white becomes cyan.

turning the screen off and on again it returns to the normal behaviour.

i have iPhone 12 Pro 128gb with latest iOS.

I will contact apple if this happens again.

Just bought iPhone 12 5 days ago after deliberating buying one for months to upgrade from a 7.

My screen turned white and then blue eventually returning to normal. I’m hoping this doesn’t happen often as I am enjoying it..but this looks like a common software issue? I hope there aren’t phones with defective hardware and this is an issue that can be addressed with an update.

i’m not pretty sure is a software fault, yesterday I contacted apple that makes a diagnosis of the phone ... all seems to be ok.

at moment apple stores are closed due to Covid restrictions, as they will reopen I’ll try to talk with the Genius Bar.

I have been using an iPhone 12 Pro since November 2020 and never had this issue before.. In the past two weeks, had this issue twice... everything white on the screen turned Cyan / Blue but it only lasted a couple of seconds.. maybe i just closed the app and it went away.. tried recording the screen when it happened for the second time but surprisingly, it looks fine in the recording.. anyways, my question is, should I get my iPhone replaced? I am ok with it being happening only a couple of times in two weeks and that too, only for a few seconds... will the frequency increase with time? Has anyone been able to find a solution?
