iPhone 12 Pro Cyan/Blue Screen Issue

I have the iPhone 12 Pro (updated to iOS 14.2) and my phone will occasionally glitch a bright/vibrant cyan color for several seconds. I tried screen-shotting the glitch (like that would even help) and my screen reverted back to normal. If I am in an app, usually the issue resolves itself when I close the app or press the power button, as if nothing happened. Not sure why this is happening, but if anyone has any thoughts, I'm all ears!

I have been using an iPhone 12 Pro since November 2020 and never had this issue before.. In the past two weeks, had this issue twice... everything white on the screen turned Cyan / Blue but it only lasted a couple of seconds.. maybe i just closed the app and it went away.. tried recording the screen when it happened for the second time but surprisingly, it looks fine in the recording.. anyways, my question is, should I get my iPhone replaced? I am ok with it being happening only a couple of times in two weeks and that too, only for a few seconds... will the frequency increase with time? Has anyone been able to find a solution?

I want to say something. I don't think this is a real hardware issue, certainly not on the display side.

IMO, this is a software bug related to interpreting surrounding colors/lights and trying to change the screen temp to compensate.

this is also a similar issue to Airpods pro over-correcting ANC and causing clicks as a result of these edge cases.

It is entirely possible that in some edge case, the sensor returns incorrect or invalid data, causing the screen to try to overcompensate.

Mine does the same thing the screen those blue sometimes it doesn’t even communicate when you touch the screen it’s brand spanking new I paid over $1600 for it and I’ve also noticed that it freezes now and also the speaker when it’s on text to speech freezers and jumps not something I thought I would get from Apple I’m very disgusted!

I was thinking about going to the fair consumers commission board and maybe having them look into this products defects on a worldwide scale!

for shame !!! @apple

Purchased my iPhone 12 Pro back in December. Magsafe wireless charger was not working after a few weeks of usage. It turned out to be a hardware issue so Apple gave me a replacement phone with a lead time of 1 month.

Just 2 weeks in from getting the new phone in March, I'm getting the same cyan/blue tint issue you mentioned on my display. It's happening intermittently at least once a day. This is frustrating having another hardware problem with the new iPhone. What is up, Apple? Tried reaching out to Apple Support but no fix is offered yet.

Just bought iPhone 12 5 days ago after deliberating buying one for months to upgrade from a 7.

My screen turned white and then blue eventually returning to normal. I’m hoping this doesn’t happen often as I am enjoying it..but this looks like a common software issue? I hope there aren’t phones with defective hardware and this is an issue that can be addressed with an update.
