With the release today, can two users do an exercise at the same time on AppleTV?

Maybe, but I doubt it because from a hardware stand-point I don't think it's necessary. My confidence in this was further bolstered this morning when I helped my kid setup Pokemon gadgets, which all use bluetooth and 3 devices connected to the iPhone simultaneously over Bluetooth.

Also, the UI revisions to get it to work on the Apple TV are so minimal as well. Right at the start of a routine, you have the option to add your user. All they need to do is support selecting multiple users and then layout the heart rate and other display on opposite sides of the screen. That would be so nice. Finally, if the Pokemon developers can figure out how to get multiple devices talking to iOS simultaneously, that means the OS's have the API to support it, and Apple developers just need to get it done. It seems like such a small and easy revision I can't imagine they'd want to charge more on top of the family premium One account.

Edit: Ok, yes, I can imagine they would want to charge more or encourage an upgrade, but I hope they don't. We both wanted to try Fitness and seemingly the best deal was the premium account, which added News and Music to what we already have. I'm honestly not impressed by any of the services at the moment, but the disappointment with Fitness outweighs all. We woke up excited to start a routine and it just left a bad first impression. It sounds like our usage scenario is quite common as well, so I imagine we're not alone. So, at $30 per month, which seems kinda steep already, the entire suite is in jeopardy if they don't support multiple simultaneous users on the current AppleTV (We haven't even had ours a year, and no reason to upgrade for a while).

I just bought an iPad stricly for my family to use it as a fitness screen and you can’t even change between user accounts within the fitness app or the iPad. Therefore I just bought an iPad for myself that I had no need for. I guess I should’ve checked first but I thought this would be a very obvious feature. Although I like the app, they need to add household compatability or it is not worth it for me. Fingers crossed for some sort of update if it’s as easy as that.
