Apple Watch not pairing with Apple Fitness+ tv app

I have updated my software on my phone, watch, and tv. Fitness+ paired on my phone and watch, but I’m having trouble with my watch and tv. I get to the screen that says “Who’s working out?” There are two options, “My Watch”, and “Other”. I select my watch, and it says “Confirm on your Apple Watch”. Then it abruptly changes to “Pairing Canceled”, and the only option is “OK”. I have Bluetooth on on the watch, and the fitness app open. Please help!
