Is there any chance my iPhone has been hacked?

I received a text message with a link and like a fool clicked on it. I immediately shut it down. No new screen cam up nor was there a link to safari, firefox. There was no information given out. I know better but had shipped a package a few hours earlier and the text caught me off guard. If it matters I have a VPN on both my phone and its linked to a flashrouter with a VPN as well. Is there any chance the phone was hacked or information was leaked? Ive deleted browser history and website data which was a course of action listed in another question on the support page. Any help would be much appreciated.
