I have an Iphone 12 Pro Max and everyday before 1100-1130 and often several times a day, I can't not make a phone call, all I get is "call failed". It locks up for all calls? Is this a software issue, hardware issue or some type of a setting that I can turn off? I've gone to the Verizon Store and all they can say is to replace the Sim card, which they did, but it didn't help. thank you
This a Verizon issue they will need to figure out.
It's likely there is some type of interference in your area, perhaps from an industrial site, that is interfering with cell signals early in the day.
It's also possible it is a temperature sensitive component on the cell tower that does not start working properly until the sun has a chance to warm it.
Thank you for responding. I have been dealing with both Verizon Tech Support and Apple Tech Support and none of them can figure it out. They have replaced the Sim card, restored my phone, checked signal strength etc. nothing yet. The apple person believes that I may have a lemon. We shall see. thanks again. Mike
