How do I drag and drop my Apple music selections into the folder used by FCPX?
MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.0
Music is imported from the Music & Photos browser. The Apple Music service content is DRM protected and not available for use in FCP.
Thanks anyway but this is not right. I have learned that legally purchased music from Apple Music downloads into the music folder on the Macbook Pro and is available for use in FCPX. I just finished a movie that came out very nice and all the music was from Apple Music. I have an account and paid for the music. That was never a problem. But now I know how to use the music in FCPX. Thanks for your reply.
You don't own the rights to the music. You do not have synchronization rights to attach it to a video. Many people do it, but it's still illegal and subject to penalties. FCP tries to prevent the use of copyrighted music, but of course you can work around it.
