Microsoft office on iPad Pro 12.9

I have a 2010 version of Microsoft. Can I copy that to my iPad and use it?

No, you need a new Microsoft licence for iOS/iPadOS devices.

No. Mac versions of Office do not run on iPads.

You can download the Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Apps directly from the App Store on the iPad for free.

You will however need an Office 365 subscription to save and edit documents on iPads with screens larger than 10.1"

On smaller screen iPads all apps are free to use.
