Screen Mirroring with Apple TV A1842 and Macbook Pro 16" (2019) - Problem Since Big Sur

Without any issue I used to be able to screen mirror my Macbook Pro 16" (2019) to my 4K Apple TV A1842. However, since installing the Big Sur update when I try to do the screen mirror my laptop turns the indicator for the selected Apple TV blue as if connecting but nothing else happens. Then, after maybe 15 seconds or so the indicator loses the blue color and a pop-up message comes up indicating that my laptop could not connect to the Apple TV device.

MacBook Pro is on Big Sur version 11.1

Apple TV is on tvOS version 14.3

I've tried rebooting and I've made sure that "AirPlay" on the Apple TV is set to "On" as well as "Allow Access" being set to "Everyone".

At this point, I can't think of anything else that I can try in order to get this working again.

Meanwhile, my iPhone 8+ is up-to-date on ios 14.3 and it screen mirrors to the A1842 Apple TV just fine.

Any suggestions or is this a known issue that is being worked on by Apple?

After trying out various solutions I was able to determine that the problem I am having is tied to my Norton Internet Security software. Specifically, I have to turn off "Vulnerability Protection" and then I am able to screen mirror my Macbook on my Apple TV.

I haven't figured out any sort of exclusion or setting that will allow the "Vulnerability Protection" to be turned on without blocking the screen mirroring. Hopefully, someone will have discovered a solution to this or Norton will publish some information on how to resolve the problem, unless instead they push an upcoming update that fixes it.
