Anyone else having an issue with 4K Apple TV not being able to connect to the Apple fitness plus?
Pairing the watch to the TV doesn’t actually happen. I open Bluetooth on the Apple TV and the watch never shows up (and vice versa on the watch). I used Fitness+ successfully on the Apple TV the first time, but now it only says for me to open the workouts app on the watch to connect, but when I do that, nothing happens at all. When using my the fitness+ app on my phone it connects properly to the watch, but on the TV .... nothing. And yes, it’s the same account, same Wi-Fi network and everything across all devices.
I’ve seen other people suggesting a factory reset, but I don’t think that, considering the prices we pay for these devices, factory resetting should be the answer to so many problems. It’s a long and tedious process. Yes, it’s easier with Apple products than others, but it still requires quite a wait.
So much for “it just works” ... >_>
Apple TV+ not working - work around Thank you Maveric80 - AND for my previous post I was very misinformed with Apple Support that Fitness + will NOT work with Smart TV with APPLE PLUS enabled. It will only work on the APPLE PLUS TV BOX. I have yet to even attempt IPAD LOL
Resetting the AppleTV worked for me
Does anybody else get this message. I’ve tried everything so far mentioned to no avail. The only thing that works for me is airplay, not a great solution.
my Watch connects fine but when I start/play/preview a workout it says cannot connect...
nothing seems to work.... very buggy
My watch is connected, but when I want to play any workout, it gives me this screen.
I sign out from my account on Apple TV and sign back in. It didn't help.

I’m having the same issue. It works 50% of the time for both my wife and I.
It’s almost like they don’t care since it’s bundled with apple one anyways. One of the few apple products released that’s made with so many bugs
I reset one of my Apple TV’s and it worked, but then someone else suggested signing out of and back into iCloud. I tried that on my other Apple TV and it worked. So I’d suggest giving that a try.
I had the same issue , only disable / enable bluetooth in the watch fixed it.
I struggled for a fix as I couldn't connect with my Apple Watch. I have found by signing out of iCloud on the affected Apple TV, and then signing back in again everything works as it should.

I did Apple TV reset but it didn't help.
Still, when I start any workout, I get the message to "Subscribe on iPhone".
Any other suggestion?
