I am trying to figure out why the green dot is on while no apps are open.

When I enter an app that does not usually use the camera the dot goes away, but as soon as I return to the home screen it returns. A little creepy as to why it is on. I tried restarting the device and it was on immediately after unlocking the phone. Maybe there is a setting that can help show me what is utilizing the camera. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

I FINALLY figured it out and now I feel dumb. It was in my home screen wallpaper. I had taken a cool photo with the magnifier app and screenshotted it, apparently the dot gets put in the photo. There is a small animation when going to the home screen, the wallpaper zooms out a little. This animation would make the dot not initially visible and it seemed as though the dot was returning as though the camera was being accessed. Cropped the photo, no more dot!
