I upgraded my macbook air running MacOS catalina to Macbook Pro now running MacOS Big sur. I am unable to connect my existing Canon LBP 6030 on USB. The driver shown on the Canon site is for a network printer and not a USB one.

Looks like they updated the driver on Christmas Eve. Just downloaded it and everything works fine.

The LBP6030 support page text for the Mac UFRII LT Printer Driver Ver.1.5.8 download appears to be a bit unclear, but (when comparing the text with the Windows and Linux versions) I get the impression that the idea is to download the same driver for both USB and network models. For a network model, an additional tool is downloaded. If it is a USB model, only the driver is used. I may be wrong. Could you carry out a test with the driver and your printer?
