return ordered iphone

Hi i have ordered a iphone 12 Pro Max 256gb from Apple web sales and now wish to return it, as my wife says she doesnt want it. It is within 14 days of recieving it. It has never been opened, i have looked at how to retuen on Apples web pages but they just keep taking me in circles and wont let me get to the page to start a return. I have also been on the phone but i wait 30 minutes to speak to spmeone and it then disconnects. Is this the way Apple keeps people as customers ?. I have just changed from Samsung myself with the same phone and have never had any trouble contacting Samsung if i had any issues, PLEASE HELP I JUST WANT TO RETURN AN UNUSED PHONE.
