Bluetooth 5.2 upgrade for current Bluetooth 5 devices? (Watch SE and 6 for example)

I can't get a response from Apple, even as accessibility as they can't comment on future releases. But I have a Resound hearing aid which uses made for iPhone technology. The new generation of Bluetooth LE Audio will come with the release of Bluetooth 5.2 (technology with the newest version of LE Audio). While some hearing aids with 5.0 Bluetooth have publicly stated they will be upgradeable to 5.2, Apple cannot confirm this for their products, since it's a "future" upgrade. It's silly since with hearing aids, it's a bit of a different situation when buying a product: you want to know if a hearing aid will be supported, etc.

I hope the Apple Watch SE and 6 are included in devices that could be upgraded from 5 to 5.2. This will allow for more Bluetooth features and low energy audio profiles as well. Since Resound's ONE hearing aid will support 5.2 with a firmware update in the near future (when 5.2 has been finalized), I hope Apple has prepared its current products for this.

It was annoying to not be able to get an answer from Apple as it does affect purchasing choices as a hearing aid wearer.

The current made for iPhone uses a low energy Bluetooth that's been around for almost 10 years and is not supported by WatchOS, only the iPhone and iPad.
