photo face recognition - identical twins
I tagged identical twin son 1 in a photo, and now all the pictures of twin brother 2 have twin brother 1's name. I can't seem to be able to undo this. Is there a solution?
iPhone 12, ios 14.x
TIA

Hello sterling r....thanks for the reply. But this does not help the issue. Specifically regarding identical faces. I have twin boys and constantly have to "not this person" to multiple pictures. That's great and all...but then depending on what the technology wants to do - it doesn't necessarily let me put it with the correct boy. The tech puts it back into the same boy's "confirm additional photos". So it's an revolving problem. I did submit a request tonight to have an option like facebook, where a user can specifically choose who the face belongs to. I wish Apple products allowed for that. It's very frustrating for those of us who take pictures of identical persons and cannot get that photo to acknowledge two different people. I get it, my boys do look like each other. So then give me the option to "choose" the People Album.
Hello janseid,
We see that you're wanting to remove the tags to the photos you have.
Follow these steps to remove the individual from the tags first.
Then you can try to re-tag the photos. You ca use the steps under "Fix mixed-ip names and faces" in this guide as well.
Cheers!
