Face recognition

Hi, apple 12 pro face recognition works in a wrong way,

it recognizes my brother face while he did not even use my phone at least once

we are not twin or do not look like each other that much

i only did for myself face recognition record in the phone

what would be the problem

Face ID Unlock Hello, I have iPhone Xr and I always use face id to unlock my device. Recently I have noticed that my device’s face Id recognize my brother’s face and it unlocks my device. Same thing happening with my brother (I can unlock with my face) iPhone too. For your information: we are not twins, we don’t use multiple face id and we did reset face id still facing same issue. Need help.

Face ID resemblance issue Hi there. my sister has bought an Iphone 11 Pro and activated Face ID only for herself. we are not twin but we have a little bit resemblance of our facial view. when I take her phone, it gets unlocked recognizing my face instead of my sister. I think this is seriously considerable issue. thank you.

Not uncommon for younger siblings to be able to do that.

Redo the Face ID set up with the other brother out of the room and use a strong password that he can't guess.
