Apple TV 4K compatibility with 2009 Pioneer Elite PRO-151FD 60" flat panel plasma TV

I own a 2009 Pioneer Elite PRO-151FD 60" flat panel plasma TV that still has a great picture, and I wish to attach a streaming device such as the Apple TV 4K for the first time to the TV via a Monster HDMI cable that I purchased with the TV.

Is there any reason why the Apple TV 4K would not work well with this older HDMI-enabled 1080p TV?  (I realize I will not get a 4K picture.)  I am particularly interested in watching the Disney+ channel, plus other content to be determined.

It should work fine. Apple TV 4K will happily output to 1080p TVs or any resolution screen down to 480p. Including Disney+ content. If the screen has HDMI-in, then it should work.
