Can I keep my M1 MacBook Pro plugged in all the time ?
I just bought the new 13-inch M1 MacBook Pro and one of the best features it has is the insane battery life. Along with the MacBook Pro I bought a monitor that connects through USB-C and delivers up to 65W of power - so it's used for image as well as for charging the computer.
My question is, if I keep using the USB-C and it's constantly delivering 61-65W of power (I assume it deliver only the 61W needed rather than the full 65 but am no fully sure) will it damage the battery of the MacBook Pro ? I've read in a few places that it won't but I haven't seen anything from apple specifically about whether having power run through the computer all the time damages the battery.
Should I avoid always having it on USB-C and use HDMI instead?
Thanks!
