Can a stereo pair with HomePod minis be used with an appleTV 4K? If not, will this be available soon?
Yes, they can be used for AirPlay. Confusion may arise because the minis are not suitable for setting up as the default audio output as described in Set up home theater audio with HomePod and Apple TV 4K - Apple Support.
