Hello I recently upgraded my OS to Big Sur and it created issues with my printer. It was working before the update and now it cannot print, stating error code to be "filter failed".
This mirrors the issue as another user stated when the new OS came out last year. Looks like Canon is aware of the issue on MacOS Sierra.

Actually, it was solved by removing the driver and downloading the driver for Big Sur from here.
