Corrupted Screen Record File?

Hi, I just recorded a gameplay on my iPad. It was like 20 minutes in duration. But after I stop the screen record, iPad slowing down a lot. So I decided to restart the iPad without any notification about the screen record being saved to the camera roll. Now there’s no notification updates about the video, no files of that video found on the camera roll, BUT my “apps” on the iPad storage increased almost 7GB from “photos” apps. Any solution to find the video? so at least I can delete it.

thank you!

Hello narabelabdat,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

We understand from your post that after recording your iPad while playing a game you restarted your iPad because it was running slow. Now the screen recording cannot be found but storage is showing an increase of 7 GB for the Photos app. Check the Recently Deleted folder and see if it was put there. If so, you can recover it or delete it permanently using the steps from this article:
