Touch ID

After recent software update, touch ID is not unlocking my Macbook Pro. I have confirmed settings are correct. Typically it is listed as an option - enter password or touch ID on lock screen. The option is no longer available. Can you advise?

Try resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295


if no resolve—

Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379
