QuickStart failed

How do I RESTART QuickStart? It failed when transferring my old iPhone 8 to my iPhone 12.

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 14

We understand from your post that you would like to start Quick Start over again. To do this, you would need to erase your iPhone 12 using the steps from this article:


How to erase your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support


Once your iPhone 12 has been erased, you can then start the Quick Start process over again.


Use Quick Start to transfer data to a new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
