How can I delete a movie from inside the Quicktime application?

The "Delete" option in the Edit menu is greyed out, and I can't drag a movie to the trash. The only way I have found to delete a movie is to open in Finder and delete from there, which is extremely cumbersome. How can I access the Delete option in the Edit menu?

Problem hiding a movie with TV app So I've been trying to hide movies in my TV app on my mac. All the online help says to open TV app, click on "account" in the menu bar, then select "Purchased". Problem is, "Purchased" does not show as an option under the account menu bar. Only option there is, is to click on the three dots on the actual movie icon in the library. when you do that, there is an option to "Delete from library". When you select this option, you get a dialog, "Are you sure you want to hide this movie?" If you select the "Hide movie" option it temporarily hides in the TV app pn the mac but it doesn't hide it anywhere else, i.e. - Apple TV or other iOs devices. Further, when you quit the TV app and open it back up, the movie you previously hid show right back up again. Any help?????

How can I prevent movie playing in Finder? When a movie file is selected, pressing the space bar plays the movie. I want to prevent that.

Movie Store/delete listings Is there a way to delete or prevent movies from showing up in the store? On the TV App, you're limited to the number of movies displayed per category, and a lot of them I am totally not interested in. And the same ones keep showing up. Is there a way to rate them low enough to keep them from displaying, or just not show up at all (like a "not interested" flag)? If not, I think this would be an amazing feature and a benefit to shoppers!!!

Delete in the Edit menu is for deleting a selection (part of a clip). The QT menu option is not for deleting movie files as a whole. It is intended that you do so in Finder, which is where you manage files.
