Problem with saving new contacts to my iPhone

Hi, folks!

About a week ago I started to experience a problem with having double of every contact on my iPhone contacts list. I was able to solve the problem by going to "Groups" in the upper left hand corner of the Contacts page and then clicking only on "card", leaving "All iCloud" unchecked.

Since this time, I have found that whenever I enter and save a new contact into my iPhone, it doesn't show up in my contacts list unless I go back to "Groups" and check the "All iCloud" box. I am now left with the problem of either having double of my old contacts, or having to go without my new contacts.

Does anyone know how I can resolve both of these problems?

Thanks in advance!

Hello DrKayakSki,

We understand you are unable to save contacts on your device unless you turn the iCloud option back on under groups in the Contacts app. We'd love to help. First, do you have iCloud Contacts enabled on the device in Settings > Tap your name > iCloud?

Also, these steps here: Hide duplicate contacts on iPhone will assist you with hiding duplicate contacts.

Best regards
