Hey there,
Alright so I'm moving from Premiere to Final Cut Pro - I've been watching a TON of tutorials on how to add adjustment layers to final cut since they're not put in natively.
I've done the whole > Movies > Motion > Import file there and open final cut check text and nothing is there.. What am I doing wrong ? I'm using the latest version of Final Cut for Big Sur on the M1 10.5.1

It needs to be Motion Templates/Titles/some category name/Adjustment layer. The last folder holds the content that makes up the adjustment layer title. The folders Motion Templates and Titles have to have the extension .localized added to them.
Just create the necessary folder structure in the Finder.
It will look similar to this, except with Titles instead of Transitions; the "Lichinho" folder name can be replaced with any name you want, and your Adjustment Layer folder should be where "Asym Dissolve" is in the image.
Also: the "Motion Templates" and "Titles" folders must be localized, as Tom mentioned.
What exactly did you do? What’s the filtering to where the effects is stored? Did you localize Motion Templates and Titles?
Downloaded the adjutment layer folder
Went to the home folder
Movies > Motion Templates > Draged in to motion templates
How do I do this, the motions templates doesn't have any other folders in it other than what I put in it.
