I watch won’t pair to new XR device - help needed 😢

recently changed phones to and XR - I watch 3 series won’t connect but is still “live”. Not sure if I unpaired it correctly from old device but that’s device is now “reset” to factory settings. What can I do 😢

Apple Watch Series 3, watchOS 6

On a computer, go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.

Go to Find Iphone.

Select All Devices, then click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase Apple Watch.

Select Next until the device is erased.

Click the remove button next to your Apple Watch.
