My iphone 10Xs is issued and managed by my employer. If I add a private mailbox in Mail app, will my employer be able to monitor emails in this private mailbox? The management profile only lists one account, which is the company email account. Thank you.

Absolutely! It is your employer’s iPhone. Your employer owns the right to access everything and anything on it at any time.
That sounds scary. They can see all my pictures too? My bad to use the phone for business and personal purposes. Why does management profile only list a few things and does not say everything is monitored? thank you!
It’s their iPhone. It’s on you to keep business and personal items completely separated.
If you happen to have an office job and you have a work desk, your employer can access anything and everything in that work desk at any time. The same is true of their iPhone.
