There’s someone I’ve been noticing that seems to give frequent, extremely low quality answers on a number of posts, almost as if they only read a single keyword from the question and nothing else, like a bot or something, and I want absolutely nothing to do with them. How do I block them? I went to their profile and didn’t see a button for that.
You can't. All you can do is ignore them.

Though I can add, if someone's advice is particularly bad (such as, it will cause another user to goose their computer), others will quickly join in to say STOP!
If a person is rude, they also be reported to the hosts by higher level members. From there it's up to the hosts to decide whether to edit or remove their post. Some never learn and eventually get themselves banned.
