Epson Printer driver for WF-7710 doesn't work with M1 Mac Mini

I just got a M1 Mac Mini. At first my Epson printer worked just fine. Then after the latest Big Sur update all of my drivers are now aliases and my attempt to download new ones were blocked by the message that I needed to contact software developer. The Epson website indicated that the driver was for Big Sur. Frustrated

MacOS Big Sur and Epson printer XP-400 Updated to Big Sur, no apparent problems except the Epson printer XP-400 no longer responds. I thought that all Epson printer drivers were automatically present in Apple mac operating Systems. What should I do?
