How do i set up my verizon voicemail in my iPhone 8+? The instructions provided by Verizon are garbage - do not work.

You need to contact Verizon. Voicemail is a carrier function and they are the only ones that can provide you support for problems. They are also the only ones that can reset it and reset your password.
