Used to be able to upload a iMovie file directly to Vimeo with the share button...worked brilliantly. Now suddenly you can't anymore and have to do the clunky save to file and then upload.
Does anyone have an answer or fix?

There is nobody from Apple on these forums as we are all users like you and not privy to Apple's reasoning.
As I mentioned earlier, although you may have had no problems, many others did.
I was never able to get Final Cut Pro X to upload but it didn't bother me as I only tried it to test if it worked. . . . and for me, it didn't!
The "clunky" way was always the more professional and correct way to produce and upload files.
Many people had problems with the old, direct method.
I have uploaded more than one thousand videos directly to Vimeo, most of them HD, and never had any problem. Does Apple have an exclusivity agreement with Facebook and YouTube that justify this move?
