Why do I keep getting charged for apps that say trial?

I have noticed that I have been getting charged $30 here $16 there. But for what???? The app says trial for 7days but it’s only been 2.... so every app whether it states free or not is going to charge you regardless??????

Usually with a trial app, if you do not cancel the subscription before the end of the trial, it converts to a paid subscription.
