Share option for YouTube and FaceBook?
Surely the YouTube and FaceBook share options have been there for years?
This is FCPX 10.5 but my 10.4.6 version is the same. So what is new?

In 10.5.1, you can no longer upload directly to youtube.
The new "Youtube and Facebook" destination produces a file on your mac, which is supposedly suitable for uploading. You then have to upload using the website or a dedicated application.
Are those FCP's Facebook and Youtube presets somehow customised for best compatibility for those sites? (AFAIK the largest image resolution Facebook currently supports is 2048 pixels in longest side so I sometimes up/downscale .jpg images to that in Photoshop with best quality compression because Facebook re-compresses them).
Recently I tried the v10.4.10 Facebook preset and it seemed to output the same 1920x1080 H.264 that I usually do via the AppleDevices preset but with somewhat larger bitrate. I ended up uploading the usual AppleDevices version (what is the big deal about the missing direct upload feature that later versions dropped -- I want to examine the rare movies I post before uploading anyway...). Does Facebook re-compress also movies to its liking? Does it accept H.265?
Thanks Luis.
Now that I have taken a better look I can see that the FaceBook and YouTube presets have been combined and the Vimeo one has been dropped.
I never used them but was curious.
