My kid has been using apple cash with a false birthday (he's under 18 - I know, bad move). Now it's asking to verify identity and he can't. How do i change him to his actual DOB and set him up under family sharing even though apple cash has already been activated on his phone? When i go to family sharing to activate, it says he's already activated apple cash, but on his phone he can't use it because he's a minor. I'm in a loop...
To set up Apple Cash Family you must first close any accounts that children already had. Make sure that the balance is zero then go here - Manage your Apple Cash account - Apple Support next, go here - Set up and use Apple Cash Family. Problem I have is he has $5 on his apple cash card, but can't send it because it's asking him to verify identity (and he doesn't have a drivers license), so he can't use it, which means we can't get his balance to zero. Any other suggestion? Thanks again for your help!
he should be able to spend it in the App Store or iTunes Store. if you contact Apple they may be able to just zero it out.
