Hello, I would like to now if my computer breaks down.

If I save the library of FCPX and all the project on External HardDrive and (for my Question) The Rushs with Camera Archive.

When I Re-Open my Biblotheque on another computer with the "camera archive"and all Folders like Media, Back-Up etc...

I would to know if I would see the marking (tagging) on my rushs ( the white line on the rush already import)??

It's very important because my project has more than 160 rush files which represent about 3 tera.

Is this a “me” issue; have I done something to my options (I can’t seem to find the choice to reverse it if so). If I hit export on iMovie there used to be a photos app sign to export to my camera roll; but now I can only find the option to save to my files. Why would I want that apple? Recovering transferred "package content" files from iMovie Library I should have read the article on copying the iMovie Library to an external hard drive first. Instead, I opened the "package contents" of iMovie Library and copied those files to my external hard drive. Now I can't seem to transfer them back into iMovie to recognize the contents, even when I put them back in the iMovie Library. Are there any possibilities for recovering them and being able to work on them as projects again?

Where do media files "live?" I think I read that iMovie does not make new copies of media added for the purpose of being used in movies. But rather it references those files in the location from which they came. Is this true? Just to be clear. Let's say I have a "ForMovies" folder on my desktop where I drop audio and video clips that I intend to use in iMovie for movie projects. I drag a video clip file--let's call it PurpleHaze--into the media section of iMovie. I then use PurpleHaze in a movie. Then at some later point I accidentally trash the PurpleHaze file from the "ForMovies" folder. And I empty the Trash. Will the PurpleHaze clip still be in the project, and the movie function correctly? Or is it a goner, and my movie is missing part of its content?
