New iphone se voicemail issues

I just got a new iphone se. I can't access voicemail. Tried changing password under Settings, but it gets hung up (says Saving Password), but it doesn't. Did I not set up the voicemail properly? How can I find out? Thanks.

Have you enabled Voice Mail through your Carrier?


SMS, MMS, WiFi Call, Call Forwarding, Call Waiting, Call Merge, Conference Call, Hotspot, Voice Mail all are Carrier Specific features. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency who issued the SIM / eSIM to you.
