It keeps generating a window that says, “Your computer restarted because of a problem.” Then it goes back to the password/sign in window. The rest of the screen is black. At first it had the big sur background but now its just a black background with this endless loop.

Try restating in Safe Mode ( Shift ) key immediately at startup. Safe mode will do a Repair Disk, clear cache files and only load the required software to operate the computer. So, it will boot very slowly - normal.

Downloaded big sur and now in a startup loop that keeps going back to password window. Is there a fix?
