Please why do I have to pay and subscribe to apple music in order to sync my music across devices?

i agree, i have same music that I OWN on my iPad and iphone. If i make a playlist on one or they other I can’t see them on both...that’s nonsense in this day and age. Rip off. Steve Jobs would not have had this issue.
