Family sharing with apple music

my son had me included in his Apple Music sharing as he is allowed 4 people. I had to upgrade my amount of storage for pictures in my iCloud. So I had to get my own account for more storage. It then automatically kicked me off the Apple Music. This is disappointing. Wondering if I am doing something g wrong. He is trying to get me back in but it won’t allow me because I am in another account?? My new account does not include misic
