Hi, I just bought an hp monitor to go with my last 2015 27" imac. have found that the resolution is 1080p and my Mac is 5120x2880 - so losing a lot of real estate on the monitor. Struggling to find a monitor that is 5120x2880. Can anyone help?
5K monitors are rare and expensive... the LG Ultra Fine 27" 5K is the only one I know of.
I'd suggest either a 27" 1440p monitor (if you want same size display with equivalent screen real estate) or a 24" 4K (if you want a more budget friendly retina-like alternative to the Ultra Fine).

if you don't mirror then you can run two monitors with different resolutions
I run a 1080p and an old non widescreen 1280_765 on my mac mini
about 5120*2880 monitor
